Cattery av Jøngenorge - Interview with Smoky
Where were you born, and how many siblings do you have?
I am one of the first "av Jøngenorge" Norwegian Forest Cats, so I'm born in Flevoland,
in Almere to be exactly.
Both my two brothers and my sister are pure white snow-cats, just like our mother,
but I have all these black spots in my white fur.
That's why they call me funny names, like "mixed coloured cow" and "magic boll"!
What is your favourite food?
FOOD!!! I like it all. Ah, that's another thing, when it concerns food they
suddenly call me "our dustbin".
As soon as the groceries are being brought in, or the door of the fridge is opens, I am there.
But then they should not buy all that delicious food!
And when I act a little bit pitiful, I mostly succeed in getting something extra.
Yeah, men love food!
What kind of toy is your favourite?
Ahem, how much time do I have to answer this question....
I really like to play. As soon as I see something moving I'm there.
We have lots of feathers, mice, balls, and so, but I do not use these.
Only as soon as somebody touches them, it's time to party, and nobody can stop me then.
I go on and on, even when my tongue is on my knees!
Have you ever attended a catshow?
Sssshhhooowww!!!!! Run for your life! And that's what I really do.
When they come downstairs on Sunday, in the middle of the night, I know what I have to do,
even though I can't open my eyes yet.
Showtime is hiding time for me. Oh my, what a disaster!
I already am a Pr. and have one point to become an Int. Pr., but last show I did my best to act as badly as possible, so that I could not be judged, and did not get my point.
Finally they understand that I don't like it, so they decided I didn't have to go anymore. Jippie!
Did you ever get kittens?
Yes, together with Beauty, our Friesian lady. Three tortie females and one red laddie.
Furby and Lucky are still living here and my other daughter Sylvana is a mother already.
Funny, me, a grandpa, while I'm still such a bad guy myself!
Is there anything else you would like to tell us?
Yes, that I don't like it that when something naughty has happened they say
"it must have been that hooligan again", and then they look at me....
